MOD started from a simple observation: contractors overpay for materials, not because they negotiate badly, but because they have neither the time nor the volume to negotiate. We decided to give them both.
The team
We held the hammer before we worked the counter.
The MOD team comes from the jobsite and from selling materials. We've read plans, managed schedules and waited for deliveries that didn't come. Then we crossed to the other side of the counter, at dealers and distributors, selling to contractors. We know both sides: what a supplier can give, and what it only gives when asked with volume.
That is what we put to work for contractors who have no purchasing department: someone who speaks the supplier's language, pools everyone's volume, and never touches your money.
MOD was founded in 2026 in Quebec and also serves Ontario.

How we work
Three rules we don't negotiate.
We tell you who we work for
MOD also represents dealers. In an area where one has given us an exclusive mandate, we tell you up front. Everywhere else, we consult several suppliers for you.
The decision stays yours
We present compared quotes: price, lead time and terms. You choose the supplier. No order is ever placed without your approval.
We don't touch the money
You order from and pay the supplier directly, on the negotiated terms. MOD never buys in its own name and never invoices you.
Why it's free
The supplier pays, because we bring them volume.
A dealer or distributor pays MOD a commission on the sales we bring them. For them, it's one more salesperson without a salary. For you, it's a buyer who negotiates with the weight of every MOD contractor behind your order.
And because we work with several suppliers, we have no interest in pushing you toward one or another. Our interest is that you come back with the next project.
